At this year's annual meeting of Psi Theta Nu on June 1st Undergraduate President Floris Van Rossum presented Paul Exner '72 with the Undergraduate Alumni Award. Paul has been a trustee and PTN House Manager for the past several years and has successfully guided the recent massive renovations including the new heating system and kitchen.
The project has begun. Craig has supervised the clearing of the kitchen, cooks’ closet and breakfast area in
anticipation of QCI beginning demolition in the near future. Once the stove/oven gas line is disconnected,
Westerman will remove the cooking equipment.
Frederick L. Hart, Professor of Civil & Environmental Engineering at WPI, passed away on December 20, 2018. A lot of Sigma Pi alumni were students of Professor Hart in addition to being the father of Eric Hart, former Sigma Pi Gamma Iota Sage.

Paul Exner presented a case study to the WPI Greek Alumni Council (GAC)on how to handle chapter house projects with lessons learned.
Officer Robert Vandal, our chapter advisor for the past 14 years, received the Dr. Robert L. Burns Award for his service at this years Convocation in Niagara Falls, NY. Dr. Robert L. Burns is a Past Grand Sage from Wisconsin-La Crosse.

We have rot, we have bugs. Craig Lazenby, our property manager,has been patching and replacing critical structural and safety elements of our fire escape constructed in circa 1972. Craig hopes to complete the work during 2018 which will include repainting. It's been an expensive effort and extensive funded out of our operating and maintenance account..
