At Homecoming 2018, we kicked-off the campaign to raise funds to renovate the kitchen. As you can see, not much as changed in 50 years!
The design for our planned kitchen and dining area renovation is underway. We are budgeting $100,000 to complete the project which we are hoping to begin during the spring of 2019.
The redesign of the layout, utilities and appliance upgrades will bring us up to latest recommended code and will include:
- New 6-burner gas stove
- New convection oven
- New stainless steel stove hood and exhaust system
- New two-door reach-in freezer
- New sinks
- Much needed additional storage area
- Replacement of the dining area floor and sub floor
