Joe has spent his 43 year career in the electric power industry in New England. He began this work at Public Service Company of New Hampshire in Manchester, NH where he worked for 19 years until PSNH was acquired by Northeast Utilities. Joe then moved to South Windsor, Connecticut and worked in NU’s Berlin and Hartford Connecticut offices for the next 24 years until he retired in 2016 as Director of ISO & NEPOOL Relations. Joe currently consults part time for ISO New England, the regional power operator in New England. Joe‘s major work focus included power system generation and transmission planning, system operations, power contracting, asset management and administration of the wholesale power rules.
Joe received his BSEE from WPI in 1973 and his MSEE from Northeastern in 1977. He has continued to play golf and is currently secretary on the Topstone Golf Men’s Club Board of Directors (last 9 years) and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Joe and Jane have been married for 42 years, have three children and eight grandchildren.
